About
Mike Potter was born in 1986 in Muncie, Indiana. He was first published at age seven. Currently he is working towards degrees in both English - Creative Writing and Journalism from Indiana University. He has no pets and no girlfriend, which is excellent as it leaves more time for friends and writing. He’d be a hipster if he wasn’t so damn sincere.
He also loves the third person.

Mike(!)
I went out on The Google the other day looking for myself and I found you and was amazed to find that you are a writer and visual artist, as well. (Weird, eh?) So I had to write and tell you that I have an essay in a new anthology, “Believer, Beware: First-Person Dispatches from the Margins of Faith,” that was just published by Beacon Press:
Amazon.com: Believer, Beware: First-person Dispatches from the Margins of Faith (9780807077399): Jeff Sharlet, Peter Manseau: Books
I’m looking forward to reading more of your work on this site and checking out your artwork, too — Let me know if you get this!
Thanks,
Michael Allen Potter
